TDB20 Pricing & Entries
Our annual Tour de Boland is ahead of the Argus. It includes six days of road cycling, averaging around 110km per day. Start 1 March. We stay exclusively in in BNB’s, guest houses and hotels (there will be no camping) and we provide 3 levels of service:
R5k Basic (self-catering)
We charge all riders a R5000 start fee, which provides the actual ride and ride captains, the baggage transfer, the victualling en route, a beer and light snack at the finish line and even a pick up service for those who might tire and suffer a complicated mechanical. Riders who opt for this self-catered entry are free to book their own accommodation. This amount also serves as a non-refundable (but transferable*) deposit, if you wish to upgrade to one of the fully catered packages below.
R14k Fully-catered sharing rate
Couples or singles who wish to share accommodation will add R9k to their deposit, per person of course, for a total of R14000 – and yes, we feed you breakfast and dinner so you can enjoy a no-hassles fully-catered service during the week of riding your bicycle. Ride and relax and leave the rest to us.
R17.5k Fully-catered singles rate
For an additional R3.5k on top of the sharing rate (total R17500 for the week), we throw in all the bells and whistles – own room etc. We even have massages available on the later stages to ensure you are in perfect condition for the days ahead. Trust us, it does come in very handy.
We start in Bloubergstrand and end in Hermanus. Our overnights wil be the Riebeek Valley, Slanghoek, Montagu, Swellendam and Arniston. There is also an optional day (post tour and no-charge) 7 where you may join the organisers in cycling back to Stellenbosch.
